Designed as a wonderfully detailed traditional English Tudor-style cottage, this charming piece features black-and-white half-timbered architecture, a natural thatched roof, chimney, miniature windows and door, and an elaborate cottage garden landscape with tiny flowers, shrubs, bench, stones and pond.

The cottage itself forms the box. The hinged thatched roof lifts to reveal a clean, fabric-lined storage compartment suitable for jewelry, rings and other small keepsakes.

Even better is what remains underneath. The wooden base retains its Pauline Ralph Original / Handmade in England marking along with the original red REUGE – My Lady Greensleeves – Swiss Musical Movement label and Reuge-marked T-bar winding key.

The mechanical movement has been tested and is working properly. When wound, it plays My Lady Greensleeves smoothly and clearly. A video demonstrating the working music box is included with the listing.
