Offered here from the dougfinds collection of curated fashion, accessories, clothing, collectibles, and unique finds is this beautifully made large oval hardwood decorative dough bowl / table centerpiece, featuring rich natural grain, substantial construction, and an intriguing cursive “JT” monogram on the underside.

This is an unusually handsome wooden bowl.

The elongated oval form has gently flared sides, a beautifully finished interior and warm multi-tonal grain running throughout the piece. Natural knots and darker grain lines give the wood considerable character, while the smooth shaping and remarkably clean joinery speak to the quality of its construction.

Unlike a lightweight decorative wooden tray, this is a substantial piece weighing approximately 2 lb 10 oz by itself.

CONDITION

Excellent pre-owned condition.

The bowl presents exceptionally well and appears to have seen little, if any, actual use. Beautiful clean finish and grain throughout. No significant cracks, chips or other damage observed.

Natural grain variations, knots and the visible joined construction are characteristics of the wood and manufacture rather than damage.

Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the actual piece you will receive.

The “JT” monogram has not been positively attributed to a particular maker, workshop or manufacturer, and no unsupported maker attribution is being made in this listing.

A particularly attractive and substantial piece of wood décor that should work beautifully with organic modern, rustic, farmhouse, contemporary or natural interiors.

Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the description and provide the best representation of this item's condition.
