Smooth Fitness EVO FX25 Treadmill Lower Control Electronics – JD-110E/E + RT100P0W REV:8 – Parts/Repair

Offered here from my personal #dougfinds collection is the complete lower control-board package removed from my Smooth Fitness EVO FX25 treadmill, including both original OEM circuit-board assemblies and the pictured connecting harness.

I am the original and sole owner of the donor treadmill, so unlike many salvaged exercise-equipment electronics, the history of these components is known. The treadmill was powered, systematically tested and photographed immediately before disassembly.

Known Diagnostic History

These electronics are being sold FOR PARTS OR REPAIR because the treadmill had a known drive-motor control fault.

Before disassembly:

  • Treadmill powered on normally.
  • EVO FX25 console/display powered and operated normally.
  • Console accepted speed selections normally.
  • Incline system operated normally from the console.
  • Safety-key system operated normally.
  • Heart-rate/pulse system operated normally.
  • Console-to-lower-controller wiring was continuity tested.
  • Variable DC speed-command signal from the console was measured at the lower electronics and changed appropriately as commanded speed was increased.
  • Drive motor was separately tested/observed operating and was mechanically free.
  • Despite the above, the treadmill would not provide normal controlled drive-motor operation.

Testing therefore isolated the problem to the lower motor-control electronics, but I did not perform board-level component diagnosis and cannot state which individual board or electronic component is responsible.

Neither board is being represented as fully functional.

At the same time, this was not a completely dead lower-control system: multiple treadmill functions remained operational as described above.

This package is offered to someone repairing an EVO FX25, rebuilding treadmill electronics, troubleshooting an existing board, or seeking original components.
