A particularly charming early Bunnykins pairing, both pieces feature the classic cream-colored body with colorful storybook rabbit scenes and a continuous border of running bunnies.

The bowl features the wonderful artist/painter scene in its center, with a Bunnykins artist working at an easel while another bunny poses nearby.

The mug features different scenes on opposing sides, including a Bunnykins character riding a hobby horse and a lively outdoor scene with several Bunnykins characters gathered around a rocking horse.

Both pieces carry the distinctive Bunnykins / Copyright 1954 Doulton & Co. Limited circular backstamp associated with the 1954–1958 production period, making this a genuinely early Royal Doulton Bunnykins set rather than one of the numerous later-production examples.

The mug measures approximately 3¼" high × 3½" across, while the bowl measures approximately 6" across × 2" high.
