Offered here from the dougfinds collection of curated fashion, accessories, clothing, collectibles, and unique gifts is this lovely vintage Italian ceramic calla lily serving bowl.

A terrific piece of decorative Italian tableware, this sculptural bowl is formed as a large sweeping green leaf with an applied three-dimensional white calla lily and yellow spadix rising from one end.

The leaf is beautifully modeled with an undulating organic rim and hand-applied shades of fresh green that emphasize the molded veins and natural contours. The glossy glaze, dimensional flower and irregular botanical silhouette give the piece the classic decorative character associated with Italian majolica-style ceramics.

The underside bears a crisp impressed “MADE IN ITALY” mark directly in the ceramic, rather than a paper label or printed import mark.

Approximately:
9" long × 7½" wide × 3½" high

A wonderful serving or display piece for an Italian pottery collection, spring or summer table, botanical décor, cottage décor, or anyone who loves calla lilies.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There is expected light vintage wear, including discoloration/soiling around the unglazed foot rim and a few minor surface marks.
