Offered here from the dougfinds collection of curated fashion, accessories, clothing, collectibles, and unique gifts is this lovely vintage Madame Alexander 8” International Series Portugal doll.

This doll represents a later production example (circa 1970s), as indicated by the “Alexander” marking and construction style. She is dressed in a traditional Portuguese costume with original outfit and working snap closures.

The doll features working sleep eyes and retains good mobility in the head and limbs with original-style stringing.

Included is the original Madame Alexander box base labeled “Portugal 585,” along with the original boxboard insert and pink tissue paper, providing an excellent display presentation.

Also included is a box lid for completeness. The lid does not match the base (different interior print and tone), shows visible wear including markings and discoloration, and is not original to this box. It is included as a protective/display piece only. Additionally, included is a vintage Madame Alexander “Friends From Foreign Lands” booklet. This booklet is from a later production period (1970s era) and is not original to this specific doll but is appropriate to the International Series.
