Offered here from the dougfinds collection of curated fashion, accessories, clothing, collectibles, and unique gifts is this charming vintage Italian ceramic rooster pitcher, made in Italy for MARKETPLACE.

This whimsical figural pitcher is formed as a proud rooster, complete with an open orange beak, scalloped comb-shaped rim and integrated handle. The warm cream-colored body is decorated by hand with deep green foliage, blue-gray flowers and golden accents, all beneath a bright glossy glaze.

The underside retains its green “Made in Italy for MARKETPLACE™” backstamp, providing a nice positive identification of its Italian origin.

A wonderfully cheerful piece of Italian kitchen pottery with plenty of personality. It works equally well as a functional serving pitcher or displayed as decorative pottery in a Tuscan, farmhouse, country or cottage-style kitchen.
