Part of Pier 1's now-discontinued Alexandria dinnerware collection, this large statement piece combines a warm golden-yellow ground with deep red flowers, trailing green foliage, rich blue bands and a graphic black diamond border.

What really separates this platter from ordinary serveware is the shape. Rather than a conventional oval or rectangle, the piece sweeps into a dramatic asymmetrical paisley / teardrop silhouette, complete with a raised center curl and gently undulating rim. It looks terrific sitting empty on a table and becomes an instant centerpiece when used for entertaining.

Condition:
Excellent pre-owned condition. The platter presents beautifully with vivid color and a glossy finish. No obvious chips, cracks or crazing. As a hand-painted piece, minor variations in brushwork and glaze are inherent to its manufacture.

The underside retains its clear original Pier 1 backstamp identifying the piece as:
